Steve founded Callidus in 2009 and has a wealth of leadership experience and health and safety knowledge. Steve is a chartered health and safety professional with over 25 years’ experience delivering strategic health and safety solutions to a wide range of industries.
Prior to establishing Callidus, Steve operated at Director level within a variety of consultancy organisations across a broad range of industries.
Steve specialises in Supply Chain Assurance and Performance Management and is respected in the industry, due to his proactive approach to delivering strategic health and safety solutions. Steve has experience of working on a variety of projects ranging from major national infrastructure programmes to global risk management strategies for major blue-chip clients.
Steve is passionate about achieving the best results for his clients and holds a high regard for his team. Collaboration is at the heart of everything he stands for and Callidus are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure success.
Steve is a highly motivated, experienced leader with 15 years’ experience in strategic programme management. Steve is a chartered member of the Association for Project Management (APM), the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and is recognised for his expertise in developing leading teams, strategic business planning, project management and capital expenditure planning.
Prior to joining Callidus, Steve held senior positions across many large organisations in industries such as aviation, further education, and retail, delivering both simple and complex multi-million-pound schemes.
Strong leadership is a key driver for Steve, alongside adding value and always delivering the best outcome for the client. In his position as Managing Director, Steve is eager to drive sustainable growth, ensure excellence in customer service delivery and explore new target markets.
Associate Director - Head Of Health & Safety
Daren has been a Chartered Member of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) since 2008 and is also an OSCHR registered health and safety consultant. Daren is a member of the Callidus Senior Management Team and is responsible for the Health and Safety arm of the business.
Daren has over 20 years’ experience in construction health and safety and six years’ experience in the high hazard process environment and is extremely knowledgeable in the provision of health and safety services to clients both small and large.
His experience includes assisting clients in all aspects of health and safety, including, principal designer role, CDMA advice, accident investigation, risk management, process mapping, systems development, legal compliance, and defence. Daren is a registered trainer with both C-Skills and IOSH.
Associate Director - Head Of Asset Management
Geoff has over 23 years management experience and has a comprehensive understanding of Asset Management, having worked across many sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Retail, Facilities and Estates.
Being part of the Callidus Senior Management Team, Geoff brings with him a wealth of experience, along side sound management skills and is responsible for the Asset Management division.
Geoff consistently delivers service results and improved performance with considerable experience of construction, commercial, PFI/PPP, local Government commissioning, procurement options, change program management, project management, total facilities management, operational delivery and client focus.
This has enabled Geoff to be an effective manager and excellent communicator with a key specialism in addressing operational issues by delivering better value, enhanced performance and reducing risk.
David is a proven health & safety professional with over 20 years operational experience in the fields of health, safety, and leadership. His expertise extends to a broad spectrum of UK industry sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, education, waste management, logistics, food production, catering, retail, and leisure.
David is a member of both the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) and The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and is also a certified lead auditor in various International Standard Organisation (ISO) management systems, including occupational health & safety management.
David has provided efficient and cost-effective troubleshooting solutions for many leading organisations, such as the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and BMW. In addition, he is a talented accredited trainer, capable of delivering a host of training.
Data Administration Assistant
Fehmeda is an experienced member of the Data Administration team having joined Callidus in 2018. Fehmeda is highly capable and has worked within the fire team, which forms part of the wider Health and Safety team.
Fehmeda specialises in using CAD software and has experience of working with high profile clients, such as M&S.
Data Administration Assistant
Katie has worked as a member of the Data Administration Team for seven years and is proficiently experienced in the processing of Health and Safety documents and online databases. Katie pays great attention to detail and works with clients such as M&S.
Katie has an NVQ Diploma in Business Administration and is also and experienced first aider and fire marshal in the workplace.
Kristian is a Technical Member of IOSH and member of the APS and has been incorporated into the Chartered Institute of Building. Having spent the first 10 years of his career working as a Project Coordinator, Kristian has a wealth of construction experience and has successfully undertaken Health & Safety advisory and Principal Designer roles on schemes more than £120m.
Kristian has over fourteen years’ experience in risk management gained across a variety of sectors and industries making him an ideal candidate to work on a broad range of projects. He is a passionate practitioner with a drive to work closely with the design and construction teams to develop strategies and solutions that will help deliver projects in the safest, efficient, and most cost-effective way.
Kristian has provided a full Principal Designer service for major clients across the higher education industry, County Councils, water and transport industries, National Trust and the NHS.
Marnie joined Callidus in 2019 after beginning her career in Retail Management, then progressing into Project Management.
Marnie is a professional manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering strategic business objectives and achieving company KPI’s, through a proactive approach combined with effective team leadership.
Specialising in resource planning, schedule development and coordination, monitoring and management of close outs, Marnie is also experienced in auditing. Marnie has experience of working with large organisations, such as Liftco and G4S and is a member of the Association of Project Managers.
Mia has worked with Callidus since 2012 and is a highly experienced Finance Manager. Mia is responsible for the smooth running of all financial processes, ranging from accountancy to year end reporting.
Mia has over 15 years’ experience within large professional companies and SME’s and worked for five years in one of the UK’s largest accountancy firms.
Michael has worked in the construction and facilities sectors for over 10 years and is an experienced and highly capable Project Manager with experience of working in consultancy, client, and service provider environments.
Michael began his career as an architectural technician, progressing to building surveying, facilities management (including hard & soft services) and asset management, before moving into project delivery.
His specialisms include project management, strategy, facilities management, capital investment planning, budget management and ownership of the client’s asset database and Forward Maintenance Register.
Michael has a wealth of experience with clients such as, NHS and M&S and has been recognised for his good communication style and capacity to develop excellent rapport with clients, project teams and contractors alike. Michael easily understands the demands and complexities of working in challenging live environments and is innovative in his approach to deliver effective solutions.
Paul has over six years of experience in the health and safety sector and has completed the NEBOSH Construction Certificate. He has a background in Engineering and prior to joining Callidus, he worked in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer and later as an installation project manager with the Ministry of Defence.
Since joining Callidus, Paul has worked predominantly in the construction sector delivering the role of CDMC and Principal Designer. Paul is highly capable and has a great deal of experience working with high profile clients such as, M&S, Asda, G4S and Sigma Group.
Sarah is a highly competent and reliable member of the Callidus team. Her responsibilities include providing support to the CEO and leadership team, human resources and responsibility for office organisation and procedures.
Sarah is a qualified fire marshal and mental health first aider and carries out internal audit on behalf of the company. Sarah is well known for being a team player and a quick problem solver.
Thomas has over six years of experience in the Health and Safety sector and has completed the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management. Thomas has a varied background having experience in various sectors including COMAH, construction and higher education.
Since joining Callidus, Thomas has delivered a variety of work undertaking the roles of Principal Designer and CDMA. Thomas’ skills also include the development of integrated management systems, environmental management, and emergency planning.
Thomas has a wealth of experience, working with high profile clients such as, the University of Leicester, Imagile and M&S. In addition, Thomas has experience of leading environmental and sustainability developments, including continuity planning and life cycle analysis.
Tracey is a highly competent Health and Safety Consultant who combines her health and safety knowledge with a broad depth of expertise in construction retail operations. Tracey is a member of the Association of Project Safety and IOSH and has five years’ experience in the Health and Safety Sector.
Tracey’s experience includes assisting clients in all aspects of health and safety, including Principal Designer, CDMA advice, accident investigation and risk management. Tracey is a self-motivated and proactive consultant, who has worked with large clients, such as, Sigma, Imagile, Kajima and various construction SME’s.
